A relaxing refuge from the bustling world for men, women, and couples. A hidden treasure in the lovely village of Mount Pleasant, Scape Spa has gained a lot of attention for our scenic setting, customized packages, and professional staff. The building itself has been an oddity that has been the source of conversation for more than 150 years.
Built in 1840, this eight sided structure had once been a family’s home. Since then, the octagonal building has been a wagon repair shop, a restaurant, and then the home of our wonderful spa. Leeann Cronkwright, owner of Scape Spa, grew up just outside of Mount Pleasant and had always had an interest in the historic building that is now her business.
Cronkwright was an aesthetician by trade, with the dream of fusing together her own experiences and expertise to create a truly unique and relaxing place for her clients to escape from the world. In 2001, after a lengthy renovation, Scape Spa invited the outside world in.
